How we handle your data

Read-only access

rememberr connects to your tools in read-only mode. We never send, edit, delete, or modify any messages, emails, or calendar events. Ever.

Process, then forget

Message content is processed through our detection engine and immediately discarded. We only keep the extracted commitment.

Never used for training

Your messages, conversations, and commitments are never used to train our models or any third-party models. All AI providers are contracted under agreements that prohibit it.

Encryption everywhere

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Your information is protected at every stage.

Role-based access

Internal access to personal data is strictly limited through role-based access controls. Only the people who need access have it.

You own your data

Delete your account and everything goes with it. All stored commitments and account data are permanently deleted within 30 days. Backups purged within 90.

What happens to your data

You connect your tools

Slack, Gmail, Calendar. Read-only access. We never write to your accounts.

Content is sent to our detection engine (using Anthropic and OpenAI) to identify commitments. Not stored. Not used for training.

Message text, email bodies, and attachments are immediately deleted after processing. Nothing is stored.

Only the extracted commitment is kept: who, to whom, what, when, and where it was detected.

You get a text when it matters

If something is about to fall through, you get an SMS. Otherwise, silence.

Security questions

What data does rememberr access?

rememberr reads messages from Slack (channels and DMs you grant access to), email content from Gmail, calendar events from Google Calendar, and meeting transcripts from Google Meet. All access is read-only.

What do you store?

We store only extracted commitments: who committed, to whom, what was promised, the deadline, and the source context (e.g. "Slack #product-standup"). We don't store message content, email bodies, or attachments.

Who processes my data?

Commitment detection uses third-party AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) under standard data processing agreements. They do not use your data for model training. Data is processed and immediately discarded.

Where is my data hosted?

The Services are hosted in the European Union. Some service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. We use Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards for all international transfers.

What happens when I delete my account?

All stored commitments and account data are permanently deleted within 30 days. Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days.

Can I disconnect a tool?

Yes. You can disconnect any tool at any time through your account settings. We immediately stop processing data from that tool.
